Processing of Personal Data in the Context of Liability

GO Monaco is committed to protecting the personal data of both the Client and the Transportation Operator. For example, if a Client reports a service disruption or an accident, certain personal information (such as name, contact details, booking details, and information relating to the incident) may be processed by GO Monaco solely for the purpose of managing the report and contacting the involved Transportation Operator or the competent authorities, where necessary. Such data will be used exclusively to enable verification of the facts and to facilitate a resolution, in compliance with applicable privacy regulations.

GO Monaco shall process any personal data collected in these circumstances in accordance with the Terms of Service and the applicable privacy notice. In particular, processing shall be carried out in compliance with Monegasque data protection laws and, where applicable, in alignment with the European GDPR. Data relating to complaints or incidents shall be retained only for the time strictly necessary to manage the case and to comply with any legal obligations (for example, insurance, legal, or cooperation obligations with public authorities).

It is specified that Transportation Operators are also required to comply with privacy regulations with respect to the Client data in their possession.

Data Shared with Transportation Operators

• GO Monaco shares with each Provider only the data strictly necessary for the performance of the service (for example, the passenger’s name, phone number for contact on the day of service, pickup address, and destination).
• Such data must be used by the Operator exclusively for purposes related to the specific booking and must be handled confidentially.
• The Operator is expressly prohibited from using the Client’s contact details for purposes unrelated to the service (such as unauthorized marketing activities).

In the event of data management violations by a Provider, GO Monaco shall cooperate with the competent authorities, while expressly disclaiming any direct liability for the Provider’s actions, as the Provider acts as an independent data controller for the processing activities falling within its scope of responsibility.
